Lamai
The island's second beach, and its granite made visible.
Lamai is Chaweng's quieter counterpart on the same east-facing coast — a smaller beach town where the island's granite geology surfaces directly, most visibly at the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rock formations along the shore.
It offers beach access without Chaweng's density, and a mix of long-established and newer housing stock.
